BLU Medigun

Medigun for my BLU Medic cosplay. Finished July 2012 for Otakon.

Excuse the blindingly bare facing side of the lever nut/bolt - the paint rubbed off during the con.

My Medigun is made of wood and misc. pieces of PVC pipe built around (slid onto) a hollow 3" diameter PVC drain pipe. It weighs ~6 lbs. Four AA batteries power the six LEDs that make up the light, with a lens made of frosted 'glass' (technically scrap sapphire but that's another story) plus two sheets of blue acetate to diffuse and color the glow. The light is triggered by the bat toggle switch on the bottom/back of the gun; the lever moves but does not do anything else. The hose is detachable. Batteries are stored in a compartment in the handle of the gun.
